Can you claim on your car insurance if a piece of wood off of the road , pierces and damages your engine.?
I was driving along the road, and hit a big lump of wood in my landrover. The wood had gone into the sump, and all the oil leaked out. Before I could stop, the engine made horrible noises and started to seize. Is this counted as an accident and therefore claimable, or is it down to me.
